About the Event
Our HK Spring 2024 Hike and Forage series will take us into our back yard forests! Hiking easy to traverse trails we will be able to see some of the powerful plants that follow us everywhere we go in order to provide mankind with the health, nutrition and natural medicine we so deseperately need. Bridge your connection to nature while creating intimate connections to our local flora and fauna. Once you connect with your plant callings, youll recieve guided instruction on how to use them in medicine making and learn to create one or more of the following:
-alcohol and glycerine tinctures
-decoctions
-teas
-oils
-smudge sticks
These plants are often overlooked and are seen as bothersome or troublesome weeds. With HERBAL KEMISTRY'S team of herbalists and consultants, we are able to guide our clients to learn more about the natural flora and fauna. More importantly we teach how to properly relate to, identify, harvest, and use the herbs we find along our trail!
